Monitoring and reporting
The monitoring and reporting system is also one of the main keys to the success of the United Nations Decade for Family Farming (UNDFF).
This requires both a follow-up of the ambitious goals set out in the Global Action Plan for the UNDFF and the monitoring of the development of the different policies and public investments and their impact on rural populations.
Biannual reports for the Decade should establish a clear link with the Voluntary National Reviews for the 2030 Agenda, underscoring the widely accepted fact that sustainable development can only be achieved by giving family farming the attention that it deserves. In this regard, the UNDFF presents a great opportunity.
